It’s Not Truly a Galentine’s Day Party Until You Have Some Loved-Up Decor

To quote one of our all-time-favorite female muses, Leslie Knope, February 13th is only the best day of the year - “where we leave our husbands and boyfriends at home and just kick it breakfast style. Ladies celebrating ladies. It’s like Lilith Fair, minus the angst! Plus, frittatas!” Not going to lie, since we all may have spent the last year cocooned at home with our S.O.s, a day spent with our girls [even if it's not in person] sounds pretty darn delicious, what with the beautiful bites (we love all things petite and pink; basic? probably, but still the best!), the sweet sips, and all of the festive fringe and finesse that goes into a BFF-focused fete. 

All this said, while you can commit to a Galentine’s Day that’s all waffles and 5,000-word essays about what your best babes mean to you - hey, we’re in quarantine, we get how things can get there! - we like a celebration that goes beyond breakfast foods and lovey dovey “Dear Girlfriend” letters. Galentine’s Day is on a Saturday this year, too, so no excuses, lead with your heart and plan a day that’ll make up for all the time lost, but also be smart and safe because COVID is absolutely still in the picture (and not flying away like Cupid will be in a couple days).
