DIY “Cheers” Sign

If you spend any time with us here at SMP, then you know we believe that glitter is always a good idea. And our latest DIY? It’s certainly no exception. This adorable “Cheers” sign is the perfect addition to any dessert table, cocktail table, or anywhere in between. Just print out this stencil and you’ll be celebrating in no time. Take a peek at the video below to learn how to make you’re own “cheers” sign!

Materials

  • Foam core board
  • Printed stencil
  • Pencil
  • Scissors
  • Tape
  • Exacto knife
  • Mod Podge
  • Glitter
  • Paint Brush

instructions

step-1Cut the edges of the stencil printouts. Match up the words and tape them together.

Cut out the stencil and trace it onto the foam core board. Gently peel away the stencil.

step-3Cut along the traced line using an Exacto knife. If you’d like, you can use a nail file to smooth the edges of your poster board.

step-4Combine Mod Podge and glitter in a bowl, and begin painting onto your foam sign.

step-5Let it dry overnight, and hang wherever you’d like for the perfect DIY touch!
