3 Ways to Really Personalize Your Bridesmaid Proposals

It’s true, the last year has really made us miss our girlfriends, our people. The platitude “absence makes the heart grow fonder?” It v. much applies in COVID times, it’s just more like “[social] distance makes the heart grow fonder.” SO MUCH FONDER. That being said, while we’d love to round up our favorites and go hard with girls’ day and all that comes with it, we’re taking a bit of a step back and, instead, using this time to cherish each of our friendships separately. Brides, this is a great way to approach and plan the age-old “will you be my bridesmaid?” ask, because at the end of the day, once your wedding day comes around, you’ll (hopefully, fingers crossed!) have your whole crew together for the ‘I Dos.’ In the interim, you get a unique opportunity to ask each of your girls individually and specially. That’s why we’re such advocates of relishing each of the best relationships in our lives and then personalizing the all-important bridal party proposals. Group asks are great, and there’s certainly a time and a place for it, but since the pandemic is still forcing us to pause collective celebrations, we can definitely get behind a more intimate one-on-one dialogue.
