An Intimate Lake Como Wedding in Shades of Pink

[section title=”The Planning”]
[field title=”Wedding Colors”]When Stacey mentioned that Pink was her favorite color, Ema felt all the bells ringing !
She used all shades of pink with beautiful displays of florals and rosy accents.
A custom made pink lacy table cloth was specifically created to match the flowers and the candles with the colors.
It was a triumph of pink which perfectly blended into the a majestic pink sunset !

[field title=”Design / Vibe / Vision”]Stacey was every wedding planner’s dream bride.
She totally trusted EMA and gave her free rein in designing her special day. The most important element was of course, the Chuppah.
It had to be romantic and lush .

[field title=”Proposal Story”]Stacey entered Joe’s life in his hardest time and she helped him to raise his two beautiful daughters . Year after year, they became a family and it was a family decision to have an elopement for the 4 of them.
Joe proposed to Stacey in one of their most favorites places, Carmel Ca.
He flew her and his two daughters on a friend’s private plane to Monterey Ca. He rented a beautiful home that had beautiful ocean views. He proposed to her outside on the patio of the home in front of his two daughters on the first night they were there.
It was extremely special to enjoy that moment with the girls and this is why they wanted to be just the 4 of them for the elopement.[/field]

[section title=”The Details”]
[field title=”Food & Drink”]An intimate dinner for 4 was served on the balcony of The Mandarin Oriental suite, just next to the ceremony spot.
The chef put together a menu which was elegantly served by a private waiter.[/field]
[field title=”Florals & Decor”]EMA GIANGRECO designed a majestic chuppah that Siloh Floral executed beautifully with a triumph of gorgeous roses in all shades of pink and blush.[/field]
[field title=”Wedding Cake”]There was no cake but a desert created by the Mandarin Oriental chef[/field]
[field title=”Readings, Ceremony Music, Reception Songs”]The couple wanted to maintain some Jewish traditions, like getting married underneath the Chuppah, the blessing of the wine and the smashing of the glassed at the end.
EMA (who is Jewish) wrote a touching and meaningful ceremony for them and she was able to officiate – adding some Hebrew blessings.

Stacey and Joe decided to read their own vows to each other and that was the most romantic moment ever. Those words were so beautiful that everyone witnessing the ceremony had tears in their eyes. [/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #1″]When it came to exchange their rings, there was a big surprise for the daughters !
Before placing the ring to Joe’s finger, Stacey gave Elaina & Kenna a ring to wear.
It was another beautiful way to include them in the ceremony underlining the importance of being a FAMILY !

[field title=”Special Detail #2″]The trio played Mazel Tov song at the end of the ceremony and we all danced !![/field]
[field title=”Special Detail #3″]FROM THE BRIDE :

Our experience at the Mandarin was indescribable. From the moment we arrived they treated us and spoiled us. the SUITE , which Ema recommended (and site inspectioned for us) was exquisite and the balcony overlooking the lake was a dream! The night before the wedding and the night of the wedding we ate dinner on our balcony. There was no reason to go to a Restaurant we had the most incredible views on our terrace. The food and the service was incredible. The night of the wedding was extra special because EMA set up the most gorgeous table for us to dine at! We had a butler who went above and beyond to make our experience incredible and make a request we had become a reality.
The night of the wedding we had black truffle scallops over risotto as a starter. Filet mignon as our entree and something sweet and delicious for desert. [/field]
