A Courthouse Elopement That’s Crazy Stylish

Whether you’re sharing your vows in front of 500 guests or chose to elope with only your dearest, every bride needs a bouquet that makes a statement. *Enter* The Hidden Garden who whipped up this floral beauty for the occasion. Christine Doneé came along to photograph the courthouse “I do” and we think you’ll wholeheartedly love.

From Christine DoneeOne of the reasons I love photographing elopements so much is because it really exemplifies what a wedding is all about: the love of two people and their decision to commit to each other for the rest of their lives. It’s an incredibly romantic, and often times intimate way to start your journey together, and really reminds us what is most important.

Mollie and Allen’s celebration almost didn’t happen that day because Mollie had taken a tumble down some stairs the morning of, but they decided to keep everything as planned, noting that she could get some much needed r&r on their honeymoon the following week. Even though the day might not have started out on the right foot, it ended with joyous smiles, two people very much in love and glasses full of champagne with friends.

Inspired by weddings seen on Style Me Pretty, Mollie planned a stylish, yet relaxed, elopement at the beautiful courthouse in Beverly Hills. She opted for a knee-length lace dress, while Allen chose a tailored blue suit from Zara. The Hidden Garden team created the bouquet and boutonniere out of the most beautiful peonies and roses, and their friends surprised them with a bottle of champagne after the vows were said.
