Any wedding that begins with a shut-the-front-door ring like this is pretty much guaranteed to be epic. And sure enough, a fabulous crew of vendors like Merryl Brown Events, Mark’s Garden, Ambient Event Design and The Butter End Cakery totally delivered. Think California al fresco like you’ve never seen before, and all shot through Joel Serrato’s lens. Pssst: right this way for so much more.
From Joel Serrato… This glorious wedding of a dashing Italian groom and his beautiful Montecito bride took place at her family home on a perfect summer night, high above Santa Barbara, with sweeping views across the ocean and city. As each bridesmaid and groomsman walked together down the aisle, another classical musician joined in, culminating in an incredible orchestra that played as the bride and her father walked down the aisle.
Cascading, opulent florals by the talented team at Mark’s Garden graced the ceremony and reception. This was an evening of authentic Italian food by Seasons Catering, great dance music by West Coast Music’s Encore, and elegant Tuscan inspired décor. The swimming pool was covered in mahogany and plexiglass, lit from below, creating a fabulous dance floor that was packed all night.
The cake by The Butter End was the piece de resistance. After the reception ended, draping in the living room was pulled back to reveal a nightclub created just for the occasion, where a late night dance party ensued until the wee hours of the morning. Late night bites, speciality cocktails and outdoor lounges with candles and blooms under the stars made for a memorable finale to a truly majestic evening.
