Featuring striking florals, rich black accessories, ghost chairs, lush greenery and brassy gold elements, it guided her fashion-forward approach to their wedding design…and the result is every modern bride’s dream. From the Bride… When we first started designing the look of our wedding, we struggled to unite vastly different aesthetics that we both loved. One day, I came across a Dolce & Gabbana advertisement and that became the focal point of our inspiration. We took the colors of the fashion forward florals and layered in rich black accessories and ghost chairs for a modern take, and then incorporated brassy gold elements and lush greenery and textures for some old-world romance. Thanks to our spectacular all-star vendor team, we are so happy with how everything came together!
We had only moved to Los Angeles from New York for two months before Mark proposed. So we thought it was very fitting to have our wedding in Southern California since we had many out of town family and friends traveling from Asia and the East Coast. We both wanted an outdoor celebration, and once we saw the venue with its sweeping vast views, we knew that was it. Our wedding day was truly the happiest days of our lives. It’s a remarkable feeling to be marrying your soul mate, surrounded by everyone you love. I couldn’t stop smiling all day, and no matter how hard I tried to stop it, I cried lots of happy tears!
