The pretty pink buildings of Charleston are the perfect backdrop for a Summer wedding; especially one filled with gorgeous pops of color like this inspiration masterminded by Cheers Darling Events and Lisa Zeising for Abby Jui. That color comes in the form of bright peonies, anemones and a whole wall of florals and greenery crafted by Frampton’s Flowers. See how romantic lace gowns and brightly hued southern charm can go hand in hand with even more in the vault!
Taking inspiration from the bright, light summer, we escaped to Charleston to bring pops of color and rays of gorgeous light to life. Couples from across the country (and world!) flock to Charleston, South Carolina to share southern charm, warm weather, beautiful views and amazing food with their guests from far and wide. Knowing the city, we wanted the day to feel bright and welcoming – highlighting the best elements of the Holy City. Rich green palms, white wash chairs, pops of bright, lush blooms gave life and fun to the details – reflecting the “feeling” of Charleston. To beat the heat – homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches from Swank Desserts. Frampton’s Flowers brought only the brightest of blooms – peonies, anemones and more! Only the warmest of Southern welcome’s would do for the guests – A Signature Welcome curated the most beautiful basket filled with favorites from the city – local treats, candles and more. Reflecting on the traditional, southern side of the area – we incorporated a heirloom style ring from Croghan’s and lace in the wedding gown. Charleston destination clients find the fun balance between southern charm and sassy, modern twists! We wanted to show what the Charleston bride is looking for. A mix between their true southern traditntal roots but with a little fun and sass!
