Youtube Stars Tie the Knot and It’s Straight Out of a Malibu Fairytale

This celebration is something out of a Malibu fairytale complete with cobblestone courtyards, hedge-lined gardens and a view of the Pacific ocean. And then there’s the Bride and Groom who are not only insanely cute and charismatic but also happen to be youtube stars. Told you it had “happily ever after” written all over it. Take a peak at this pastel infused beauty designed by So Happi Together and all captured by Sally Pinera.

From the Event Designer… Heart and Arnold are not only the sweetest people you have ever met – but they may be the most happily in love couple we have had the pleasure to work with. The way that they interact is filled with giggles, inside jokes, finishing of each other’s sentences and above all, respect. You can tell that they genuinely love and respect each other’s opinion and company. This probably comes in handy since they are both YouTube lifestyle bloggers and Influencers – so they spend a ton of time together creating fun and stylish content for their viewers, leaving little time for planning a wedding!

When they reached out to Nancy of So Happi Together for their wedding planning services, they had already been dating for 10 years, engaged for 2 and while they didn’t have a set date or venue, they knew they wanted to officially get married within the next 3-4 months since winter (their most favorite time of year) was quickly approaching and they dreamed of a cozy, intimate and festive celebration for their wedding day. They wanted their wedding to be something they could look forward to after the fun of the holiday season was over – to make the magic last a little longer into the new year!

This young, hip couple was actually pretty traditional when it came to their wedding design. They had a few ideas for colors and knew that they wanted a California beachy-vibe, but otherwise left the design and styling largely up to their planner, which always makes for a fun and productive planning process! Their main desire was to keep their family involved and serve them good food, drinks and music at a private estate where everyone would feel comfortable and loved.

We achieved this by producing their wedding at the Stone Manor in Malibu. Their immediate family and close friends were able to stay at the gorgeous estate with them for the entire weekend, which started with a casual rehearsal and welcome dinner, held indoors (due to some light showers, which didn’t dampen the couple’s high spirits) and ended with curling up by the fireplace with late night snacks after the wedding and an intimate brunch the next morning.

For the actual wedding day, the ceremony was held in the back of the estate on a manicured grassy lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Guests enjoyed the views, along with pre-ceremony appetizers, hot chocolate and champagne. The ceremony, which was officiated by Heart’s sister, was perfectly personal with vows that made guests laugh and cry (zombies were mentioned more than once) and a recessional to Bruno Mars’s “That’s What I Like” that had everyone up and dancing.

A live musician serenaded the guests as they made their way through hedge-lined, cobblestone paths to the cocktail reception in the Stone Manor’s grotto. They were greeted with trays of champagne and signature drinks served in gold-rimmed, vintage glassware from Casa de Perrin and adorned with edible florals. Guests were further spoiled with more delicious food provided by Hungry Bear Catering and a hand roll station set on a beautiful vintage bar provided by Found Rentals.

As the sun set, guests were invited into the venue’s fairytale-like Stone Room where they enjoyed dinner, toasts and a LOT of dancing. The color palette was sweet and romantic and very true to Heart’s style with blush pinks and golds against white marbles and gray driftwoods. Gold and rose gold accents were incorporated with the flatware, custom laser-cut names by Letters to You and Aether Workshop, and lanterns and floral vessels that housed lush arrangements designed by by Heavenly Blooms. Against the gray stone of the room and the luxe feel of their velvet table linens (by La Tavola linen) the design was equally inviting and luxurious.
