Whether it’s a quiet respite from a busy year, or a way to reconnect with someone special, taking the holidays as a private experience can turn a typical holiday into one for the record books.
Pack light, bring your winter clothes, and plan for a weekend snuggled up watching Christmas movies in bed with hot cocoa, going on the hunt for the perfect tree, and then warming up with a fresh pot pie straight out of the oven.
Make an evening out of decorating the tree, and stay up late as the candles melt down, reminiscing about the beauty and challenges that 2016 brought. Specialty Cocktail: The Christmas Getaway
1oz Cranberry Juice (sweetened)
1 wedge lime
Champagne or Sparkling Wine
Cranberries (frozen)
Mint leaves
In a festive, chilled glass, add cranberry juice and a squeeze of lime. Top off the glass with champagne, and a garnish of delicious cranberries and a touch of mint. Cheers!
