CITY/GROUP TOUR
While some may jet off on their honeymoon the morning after their wedding, many couples are choosing to stick around an extra day or two, especially when guests are coming from out of town. If this is something you want to do, consider booking a group tour the next day. Rent out a double-decker city bus or a trolley, or book a walking tour, and let you and your guests discover the city where you just said “I Do” together.
BOWLING
Start the fun early with some nice competition during a bowling game the night before the nuptials. A lot of local bowling alleys have recently stepped up their game, offering cocktails and music videos to create a celebratory atmosphere. Consider putting people who don’t know each other too well into teams; this will allow for a friendlier vibe on the day of the wedding. And don’t forget to list your bowling name as “bride to be!”

COOKING CLASS
Instead of everyone sitting down to have a meal, why not get hands on and have everyone make their own food? Book a private class so all your guests can partake in a more intimate setting. Your friends and family will walk away with a delicious meal and possibly a new skill in the kitchen.

FITNESS CLASS
Nothing gets people going quite like some adrenaline. Pump up the speed of the weekend with a fitness class. Let everyone de-stress during a calming yoga class the morning before or the morning of the wedding or kick it into high gear with a wedding party cycle class the morning after—it’s a surefire way to get those wedding hangover blues (or real hangovers) out of your mind.

WINE/BEER TASTING
Sure, you’ll be offering wine and beer at the wedding, but having a tasting is great way to get everyone socializing. Find a local brewery that has some great craft beer options (and can maybe even give a tour of the grounds) or a winery or wine shop that offers tastings—it’s the perfect party before the party.
