Jeremiah and Kalie are the very definition of a power couple. Jeremiah, a country music singer-songwriter and Kalie, a pageant queen named Miss Idaho 2015 fell in love and decided on an intimate forest wedding as a nod to their shared love of nature. Jenny Loose captured their romantic elopement session in the mountains and it’s a beautiful ode to the great outdoors.
About the Couple
During the summer of 2014, singer-songwriter Jeremiah James Korfe was just wrapping up his successful country music tour, after performing all across the nation. He was requested to sing as a guest-celebrity performer at a local pageant in Twin Falls, Idaho which is where he would unknowingly meet the love of his life. Kalie Wright won the local title (as well as Jeremiah’s heart) that night and would go on to win the entire state pageant just a few months after. Kalie and Jeremiah first connected through music and their faith in God and began an adventurous journey that would allow them both to chase enormous dreams side by side.
Jeremiah became her biggest fan, supporting her through winning Miss National Sweetheart, Miss Idaho, and onto competing at Miss America. Four days after Kalie returned home from Miss America, Jeremiah invited her up to his beautiful farm in Minnesota. He knew she was the woman God hand-crafted for him, so overlooking the green fields he got down on one knee and promised to take care of her for life.
From the photographer… They both love the mountains and nature so much it makes sense that they would want an intimate romantic forest wedding! I am in love with the gown she picked- it is so elegant and totally her. Plus it is different to see the elegance mixed with the woods and it really worked beautifully for them. The day will be filled richly with love and happiness. I feel so honored to have been a part of this day with them.
