Formal Greystone Mansion Wedding

I think we can all agree this bride’s got killer style (helloooo gorgeous wedding gowns!), but even more beautiful than the fairytale wedding she planned along with Aquafuzion is the love story behind it all. I’m talking a marriage 14 years in the making, and Esther Sun + D.P. Weddings documented the big day to a T. Lose yourself in the gallery right this way.

From The Bride…It was not the love at first sight type of love story. It was not a Cinderella nor Snow White fairytale story. Instead it is a real love story, dating exactly back to 1998. The place was Arcadia High School, California where Yvonne and Mo first laid eyes on one another. Though they didn’t exchange words in the beginning, they kept seeing each other in their classes and around school. Finally, while waiting for rides back home, they had an opportunity to talk after recognizing one another from being at school. After they became friends for a while and endless phone calls, they both quickly learned she likes him more than other boy friends and he likes her more than other girl friends.

On April 28th 2000, they went to KTV together with a couple of best friends, he bought her red rose with baby blue ribbons. While there he asked her to be his forever “best girlfriend” and she answered “YES!” After that, they danced the night away for the very first time as a couple. As years passed by, he felt she was the one and she felt she could not live without him. On April 28th 2012, their 12th anniversary as a couple, Mo bought Yvonne her favorite rose and her favorite ring and proposed to Yvonne near her bedside. After 14 years been together, Yvonne and Mo married in Beverley Hills, California, on Nov 8, 2014.

The wedding was an intimate 64 people European-style wedding that was hosted at Greystone Mansion, Beverley Hills. Even the number of the guests that we invited were few, but half of the guests traveled from out of state to celebrate our union as a newly wedded couple. They were our closest friends and family members who have witnessed our journey as a couple. We felt truly blessed and honored to have all of them there with us.
