It’s hard to believe, but winter is right around the corner. And while I’m determined to savor every last second of fall, this wedding was a sweet reminder of what’s ahead. Pretty snowfalls, cozy wraps and twinkling holiday lights are just a few of the moments inside The Vault, and DeFiore Photography didn’t miss a beat. Grab a coffee and let’s get started.
Each part of the day was planned to give their guests an authentic Colorado experience and it all came together gracefully. They we’re married at St. Joe’s Cathedral Church on historic Mountain Avenue in Fort Collins followed by a quick trip to New Belgium brewery to introduce their wedding party to one of the best brewery west of the Mississippi before heading to the grand ballroom at the Lincoln Center for the rest of the evening.
Soft ivories, pops of brilliant red and warm gold flowed through out the day. Hana Style Design created stunning bouquets and centerpieces for the tables. Each bridesmaid wore a gifted red silk pashmina and a flowing steel grey colored dress with personal jewel tone necklaces. The red roses on the invitation suite was hand painted by a close friend and complimented the colors perfectly.
Katie’s delicate dress was accented by the snowflakes that fell around us that day. The pass family is from England so they incorporated handmade English Christmas crackers used to celebrate happy occasions. The poppers were filled with fun jokes and party hats. They also provided late night fish and chips snack for guests. I was blow away by all the love and support these two have as they move forward into a new life together. Stories, testaments to their love and compassion were shared all throughout the day and it was truly beautiful to document. Congrats to the happy couple!
