From Winsome and WrightIn designing and setting the scene for this moody, French inspired boudoir session it was important to me that you feel the bride is sure of herself, sophisticated and believes in understated beauty. Soft vintage waves and subtle makeup set the tone for the boudoir session. For Love & Lemons has some of the most beautiful, intricately designed lingerie, and it perfectly complimented the soft lines and skin of our bride. For our second boudoir look, a sheath dress by Karen Willis Holmes combined with a Naturae Design gold crown made for such an ethereal, moody look that completely shows almost always less is more! Transitioning to the bridal look, I wanted her look to be cohesive with the moodiness and romance of the morning. Karen Willis Holmes strapless gown paired with a simple, understated updo and a smokey brown eye was the perfect compliment. We chose a soft palate of organic purple, creams + whites for florals with the freeness and flow that Park Floral Design does so beautifully. Love letters and an invitation suite inked with warm brown stunningly penned by Michaela McBride Calligraphy was the perfect addition to our day.

I firmly believe that every woman should consider having her boudoir photos taken before she gets married or the morning of her wedding – it is such a beautiful gift to give not only to your husband but also yourself. Boudoir is such a beautiful way to look back and remember the excitement + anticipation of your wedding day and your future together. Working with all of the talents on this project was so amazing!! Firmly believe in working with others who love people and love what they do. I was completely blown away with everyone in this collaboration.
