Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn pair up in this raunchy comedy to play two best friends who crash weddings to meet single women. If you really want to laugh, Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Ellie Kemper and Wendi McLendon-Covey have you covered in this Oscar-nominated comedy. Laugh-out-loud funny, “Bridesmaids” is possibly one of the best movies (wedding or otherwise) of the past decade.
Runaway Bride
The fourth time is the charm for Maggie Carpenter, played by Julia Roberts. Having already left three grooms at the altar, Maggie is known as the “Runaway Bride” thanks to journalist Ike Graham, played by Richard Gere. When he goes to her hometown to report on her upcoming wedding, love blossoms between this cynic and the heartbreaker.
The Philadelphia Story
A true classic, this 1940s romantic comedy centers around Katharine Hepburn who plays a Philadelphia socialite, who on the eve of her wedding to her wealthy fiancé (John Howard) crosses paths with her ex-husband (Cary Grant) and a prying reporter (James Stewart).
