From Zosia Zacharia PhotographyOur shoot was inspired by the neo-classical venue, Parkstead House, built in the 1760s, located in south west London. Full of beautiful original features including its elegant plaster work indoors, a stunning double staircase outside, manicured grounds and neo-classical temple all of which provide the perfect back drop to any wedding.

With this we wanted our bride to embody the soft, whimsical, romantic look of the Georgian era. Soft flowing antique lace gowns from bridal dress designer Sally Lacock in styles Esme and Flora were paired with beautiful pairs of Rachel Simpson shoes in styles Victoria and Isabelle.

Make up artist Clare created a modern twist on the traditional English rose look for our bride by pairing dusty pink lips with a smoky gold eye with lashings of black mascara to give a more glamorous feel. Clare created a loose up-do and used delicate hand made hair-pieces to finish the look loaned by Abby of Cherished Bride.

Florist Kate created a modern trailing bouquet featuring Jasmine flowers, Sweetpeas, colourful Caramel Antike and Café Latte English roses, Dahlias and Astrantia. Along with romantic buttonholes featuring English garden roses tied with hand dyed silk ribbon.

Krishanthi Armitt of Cakes by Krishanthi created a stunning 4 tier wedding cake with sugar flowers to reflect the over all botanical theme. Krishanthi created a pale pastel blue icing as a base with a silver trellis design and hand crafted delicate sugar flowers in the style of trailing Clematis flowers & sweet peas. She also created co-ordinating cup cakes with silver trellis style holders and matching sugar flowers.

Our groom wore a romantic buttonhole and looked rather dapper in a tailored navy blue, fine pinstripe wool, 3 piece suit from bespoke tailors Marc Wallace.

Modern calligrapher Judy created a delicate invitation suite featuring white ink lettering on soft grey card finished with botanical theme stamps. Metallic silver was used as a high light colour for trailing botanical design invitation liners and a family crest threaded with beautiful organic, hand-dyed ribbon from Lancaster & Cornish.

For the reception tablescape wedding planner Rachael matched white linen and elegant bone china with antique silver cutlery & silverware, creating a simple backdrop to the colourful floral display which included extending trailing Jasmine along the length of the table, intertwined between antique silver candle sticks & tea lights. The tablescape was made completed with modern calligraphed placecards and luxurious leather Louis chairs provided by Academy Hire.
