Some of our favorite weddings are indoor beauties like this one, where the evening glow is fueled by elegant taper candles and the walls soak in the laughter of the crowd. From Taylor Barnes Photography…Erin my sweet Canadian born bride and ever so talented Floral Designer and Stylist approached me months before the wedding after following my work for a while seeking wedding photography. As we met over the months and she shared her ideas with me I knew her wedding would be beautiful!
She had a chic and eclectic look planed for her wedding and spent months gathering various candle sticks and vases to adorn her venue with. With the help of some florist friends she decorated her wedding venues, bouquets and button holes. We chose the gardens of Kilver Court to take a majority of portraits in the stunning spring gardens with bountiful magnolia flowers which suited Erin down to a tea!
Her dashing Groom, Greg, wore a mix of Hugo Boss and Ted Baker in a modern black tie which blended perfectly in cocktail hour. They sipped signature cocktails on arrival and sipped champagne from the most darling glasses during speeches. Erin added Canadian touches by serving poutine as they danced the night away!
From The Bride…We knew we wanted Ashlee to photograph our wedding as soon as we saw her work. The way she captures light, and her stunning eye for details is absolutely perfect. Working with her was a dream! Having Ashlee in the room while getting ready was a lovely calming presence. And her and Fay were flawless at blending in with our guests. Our photos turned out better than we could have imagined!
