Last month, we partnered up with a few amazing brands, including Williams-Sonoma, Fortessa and Fairmont to experience this locale’s beauty first hand and the amazing sweepstakes prize they have up for grabs. After settling in our first evening, we were treated to an amazing meal plated on Fortessa dinnerware at the girl & the fig. Think locally sourced ingredients, farm fresh goodness and a whole lotta love—a recipe for happiness.
Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn
Our second night was hosted at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and by Chef David Blum, who crafted an insanely delicious meal for us, all locally sourced as well including perfectly peeled tomatoes freshly picked that morning!
What to Do
Cooking Class
My absolute favorite part of the trip was visiting the Williams-Sonoma flagship store. We explored Chuck Williams jaw-dropping collections, drooled over the 5 inch thick marble countertops and enjoyed a cooking class with Chef Thomas McNaughton (Restaurant owner and author of Flour + Water). Chef McNaughton prepared a beautiful lunch for us served up on these Fortessa beauties and toppped with the best pasta I’ve ever tasted. Not to mention, a decadent chocolate mousse to finish things off.
Winery Tour
A must-see? Silver Oak Winery! We sipped on their rich Cabernet Sauvignons in beautiful Fortessa stemware, nibbled at the prettiest cheese board I’ve ever seen and explored the incredible gardens and vineyards in awe.
Spa Day
Before heading home, I was bitten by the Spa bug at The Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn and experienced a life-changing facial. They also have their own source of thermal mineral water for absolutely divine bathing treatments. Needless to say, it was a relaxing end to a truly memorable trip.
All in all, it was a dreamy trip to say the least, sprinkled with great food, new friends and so much laughter. Sound like a getaway you’d love? Thanks to Williams-Sonoma, Fortessa and Fairmont, you have a chance to experience all of the goodness above, too!
