step-1

Section off a small amount of hair in the front. Gather and smooth out the rest of your hair into a high ponytail. Spray all over your high ponytail with a light misting of hairspray.

step-2

Secure your ponytail with an elastic band (one is similar hair color is preferred). Once you’ve secured your ponytail, tease the ends of your hair towards the elastic band using a comb or brush. It’s going to look messy, but this is what will give your bun volume!

step-3

Once you’ve teased the ponytail, flip the ponytail over and secure the ponytail to the top of your head. Flip ponytail back and tuck the ends under to create a bun. Spray with a light hairspray and smooth stray hairs down. Secure bun into place with bobby pins.

step-4

Comb out the hair in the front (the one still sectioned off from Step 1) and lightly mist with light hairspray. To create volume, gradually tease the base of the bangs with a wide tooth comb. Sweet bangs to one side and tuck and pin the ends of the bangs into the base of the bun.
