From Huckleberry Karen Designs… When I first spoke with Crystalin about her wedding she was confident in the vision she wanted for the wedding. She wanted a relaxed and casual wedding where guests can dance under the stars and be surrounded by nature. She wanted the flowers to be natural, garden like and airy. She was drawn to soft full flowers and preferred a loose style where the flowers had space and room to breath.

In order to keep things light and airy I worked on the right balance between the flowers and foliage. To give the bouquet a garden like feeling we used four different types of foliage in different shades of green. The Italian ruscus is a darker green and helps add depth and dimension compared with the lighter seeded eucalyptus foliage. We also used a variety of flowers with different sizes and shapes. The linear flowers (stock and veronica) helped create movement and we chose classic flower shapes with the garden roses and ranunculus to give the bouquet a classic and elegant feel. It truly is a timeless bouquet that will transcend the years to come.
