Oh, Fall in New York…is there anything better? Not unless you have Rebecca Yale Photography by your side capturing the love. She followed these two from a stroll through Central Park to high above the city (102 stories, to be exact!) and her photos in THE VAULT are engagement sesh perfection. More pretty right this way.
From the Bride… Kevin and I moved to NYC not long after we had first started dating. This city is the place where our relationship flourished and where we fell in love. You can’t live in this city and it not become a part of who you are. Because of this, we knew exactly where we wanted to take our engagement pictures so that our photos truly represent us and our relationship. We wanted to know that when we look back at our engagement photos 50 years from now, that floods of memories will come pouring back of what our life was like at that time.
Pictures in Central Park were pretty much non-negotiable. Walks through the Park with our pup, Georgia Brown, are consistently part of our routine, and it is also the place where Kevin proposed.
It is also not a secret that NYC is not an easy, slow-paced, stress-free place to live. I desperately wanted the pictures of us high above the city with the skyline in the background, because to me, without a word these pictures are saying “with you by my side, I can not only take on this city, but everything the world throws at me.”
Our engagement session with Rebecca was one of the happiest, most fun days of our lives and we absolutely cannot wait to have her photograph our wedding day!
