Intimate San Francisco City Hall Military Wedding

Planning a wedding in two weeks? Well, it’s downright heroic, and this duo is exactly that. For their intimate City Hall celebration was smooth sailing filled with a Smithsonian’s worth of style. It’s San Fran meets military chic, and this Veteran’s Day we’re saluting every moment. A Patriotic of pretty, the gallery from Em the Gem is our national treasure. See the fleet of fabulousness via THE VAULT!

From The Bride…When Josh and I got engaged, the only thing I knew I wanted for our wedding was for Em to be our photographer. I had known her for a few years and I knew she would be able to capture our day perfectly, everything she does is magic! With Josh serving in the Navy, we knew we wouldn’t have advance notice for when he could take time off to get married. As soon as an opportunity came up we took it and had only two weeks to plan our wedding, which was difficult since Josh lives in Texas and I live in California. Fortunately, we both wanted something low-key so there wasn’t much to plan – finding a dress that short notice was actually the hardest part. We booked our ceremony at San Francisco City Hall and everything else fell into place.

Floral design was done by my amazingly talented friend, Michelle Lywood. Camille Monique, who I have known for over a decade, did my hair and makeup perfectly. And of course, Em Scott was our incredible photographer. We had 14 guests, all family, and an intimate reception dinner at Navio at the Ritz-Carlton in Half Moon Bay. Even though planning a wedding in two weeks was really stressful, everything turned out beautifully. It was truly a perfect day for us – simple, intimate and beautiful!
