Leave it to Shannon Leahy Events to plan the most perfect day ever. Along with incredible vendors like Sweet On Cake, Atelier Joya and Paula LeDuc, she proved an autumn wedding in Napa Valley is the way to go from the clever wine-inspired escort card display to the couple’s darling bike with fall blooms a’plenty. The one and only Jose Villa photographed the pretty all inside THE VAULT.
From Shannon Leahy Events…Lauren and Brent were married at a gorgeous private estate in Napa Valley. The Bride works in fashion in New York and wanted to plan a gorgeous destination wedding in the Napa Valley for her closest friends and family. We were so in love with the classic, timeless lines of her gorgeous Ralph Lauren gown and by the Groom’s white dinner jacket.
For the decor, we took inspiration from local wine in Napa Valley for the escort card display (green grapes in crates!) and for much of the day-of paper from the wine ring design to the cork place card and table number holders. A map of Napa Valley also served as the envelope liner on the letterpress invitations. Atelier Joya created gorgeous arrangements using the local color and style of the Autumn leaves and foliage mixed with romantic blush flowers. There were lots of romantic, vintage touches like vintage lounge furniture and a sweet dessert display inspired by the tradition of a cookie table for Pittsburg weddings.
Lauren’s Mother walked her down the aisle and sweetly and symbolically Brent met her halfway to bring up to the altar. After a romantic candlelit dinner under an outdoor trellis with twinkling lights and chandeliers – Brent’s Father gave a beautiful toast and led the group in a traditional Japanese banzai toast. The night ended in an epic dance party and late night burgers and fries from a Gott’s Roadside food truck that pulled up to the wedding.
