From Kerianne Nelson…. Michelle was such a treat to work with! When we first met to talk about flowers in our shop we were both so giddy about all the gorgeousness going to happen for their June wedding!!  We look at flowers and the way the can be arranged as naturally as we can for each season, using local greenery as well as blooms to create a story and sense of season.  A subtle whimsy mixed with traditional elegance is a good way to describe our signature style.  I like to design bouquets for our clients at the crane estate that feel organic to the venue and setting, as if they could have been cut from there gardens.

For Michelle it was about a soft palette, local greens and statement blooms.  We designed a mock bouquet together a few weeks before their big day in our store and I think the true bridal bouquet on the day I made for her was even more perfect!! We had more seasonal foliage available than when we initially met and the season was just right!!  I went with a soft a-symmetrical composition, romantic with the feeling of an estate garden.  Some of the foliage available was still flowering (mock orange and dogwood) which added such a special touch to Michelle’s bouquet, it was a way of telling anyone who saw this pretty piece of floral art perfected photographed by the amazing O’Malley’s, their wedding was a date in June in New England.

I finished Michelle’s bouquet with my signature 1-sided bow and gorgeous tails in a mix of gray, blush and ivory ribbons Michelle brought to me.
