We’re asking Erin of Sterling Social to tell us the advantages of booking a weekday wedding and why you really should consider it – more below!

Your ceremony and reception venue(s) will offer reduced rental fees and lower food/beverage minimums for a non-weekend date. This then gives you more money to put towards things like flowers, décor and music which will all likely offer reduced weekday pricing as well.
ENDLESS OPTIONS
Your options for venues are endless and you’ll avoid running into date issues. This way you can find your picture perfect location!
SPECIFIC DATES
Allows couples to be married on a specific anniversary/date that is special to them as this particular date might not fall on a weekend.
WEEKEND PREP
You can plan other wedding events such as a Rehearsal Dinner or Brunch on Weekend dates that either lead into or extend into a weekend. For example, if your wedding is on a Monday then have your Rehearsal Dinner that Sunday evening before and start your celebrations with family and friends at the start of the weekend that leads into your Monday wedding.
TRAVEL
For any guests that have to travel, a weekday can be a more affordable when it comes to flights, hotels and rental cars.
INTIMATE
It’s great for those wanting an intimate wedding with lower guest counts.
