From Become Intertwined… In order for a girl from France and a guy from Portugal to meet and fall in love, there has to be some level of fate involved. Thanks to a college essay deadline, and the lack of a stapler to finalize the project, these Harvard sweethearts met and the rest was history.
These two turned heads with their garden-inspired wedding at Pelican Hill Resort in Newport Beach, California. The couple wanted to bring the south of France to Newport Beach to incorporate the bride’s French roots. The inspiration behind the wedding ceremony originated from their paper goods, which essentially created the garland draping the property’s iconic rotunda.
The adorable bride gave her bridesmaids the freedom to pick their own dresses, as long as they stayed with a Chiffon pastel style – they all looked stunning! The garden setting adored with lush florals perfectly showcased the romance between the couple. Mixing all organic materials such as ceremony urns, copper containers and glass votives, the design mimicked a garden party in the ballroom.
We were so lucky to see these two cultures blend so beautifully; Marjorie and Jirka’s wedding was the epitome of true love!
